SMS Terms & Conditions

1. Program Name & Description

InkSigils SMS Notifications is a messaging program operated by InkSigils. When you provide your mobile phone number and consent to receive text messages through the InkSigils platform, you may receive the following types of SMS messages:

  • Appointment reminders confirmations, upcoming appointment alerts, and rescheduling notifications
  • Booking updates new booking confirmations, cancellations, and waitlist notifications
  • Account notifications verification codes, password resets, and security alerts
  • Aftercare reminders tattoo and piercing healing check-ins, downsize reminders, and follow-up care instructions
  • Studio communications direct messages from your artist or studio, including responses to your inquiries
  • Promotional messages flash sale alerts, special offers, and event announcements (only if you separately opt in to marketing messages)

2. Consent & Opt-In

By providing your mobile phone number and checking the SMS consent checkbox on the InkSigils platform, you expressly consent to receive recurring automated text messages from InkSigils at the phone number you provided.

Consent is not a condition of purchase, registration, or use of any InkSigils service. You may use InkSigils without opting in to SMS notifications. Opting in is entirely voluntary.

After opting in, you will receive a confirmation text message verifying your enrollment in the InkSigils SMS program.

3. Message Frequency

Message frequency varies based on your appointment schedule, studio communications, and account activity. You may receive multiple messages per week when you have upcoming appointments, or fewer messages during periods of inactivity. Promotional messages (if opted in) are limited to no more than 4 per month.

4. How to Opt Out

You can opt out of receiving SMS messages at any time using any of the following methods:

Text STOP to any message you receive from InkSigils to unsubscribe.

After sending STOP, you will receive a one-time confirmation message confirming that you have been unsubscribed. No additional messages will be sent unless you re-opt in.

6. Supported Carriers

InkSigils SMS messages are supported on all major U.S. carriers including AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, Sprint, and others. However, carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Message delivery is subject to your carrier's network availability and coverage area.

7. Message & Data Rates

Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier plan. You are responsible for any messaging or data charges imposed by your carrier. InkSigils does not charge any additional fees for SMS messages, but standard text messaging rates from your wireless provider will apply.

8. Privacy & Data Protection

Your privacy is important to us. The mobile phone number you provide and your SMS opt-in consent data are collected solely for the purpose of delivering the InkSigils SMS program as described above.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

We may share your mobile information with service providers who assist us in delivering messages (such as our messaging platform provider), but only as necessary to operate the SMS program and subject to strict confidentiality obligations. For full details, see our Privacy Policy.

9. Carrier Disclaimer

T-Mobile, AT&T, Verizon, Sprint, and other carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. InkSigils is not responsible for messages that are not received due to carrier network issues, device incompatibility, or changes to your mobile number or service plan.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these SMS Terms & Conditions from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued participation in the InkSigils SMS program after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
